If you've even <considered> taking this challenge serious (or maybe, even semi-serious), you... maybe had a few questions, right? Like, is there a transparent leaderboard type of platform that tracks users XP's? Or, do users get recognition **with proof of the # of XP they got?** after they're named the highest XP gainer of said day? These are just questions I asked; but hey, maybe you looked past it. After all, if you're good enough at coding, this should be free money.
Too many people have thrown the somewhat irrational fear of "Oh, multiple people can use the same accounts and farm XP." If you tried doing this yourself (logging onto your acc on 2 comps, same time) - automatically, you're thrown off the page. If each course is.. say 4 hours (1.5hrs if you're and experienced), boom. 3-5k XP in 1.5 hours. Say you're on meth, you Datacrap yourself 24 hours straight into a, how much XP do you have? I thought 40k was solid. Besides, for all 20 pictures on every social media site there are of people posting weekly/monthly XP gains, that's more than what they'd do in a good month.
Well well well, think again. Not only did I not win, but I have no idea by how much (I can only imagine - I took it pretty serious, I thought). I realized the practice courses are MUCH more efficient gaining XP. If you were to memorize (or even note the answers) for practice courses, you can smash 250XP (5 practice questions) in a minute. Literally. If you think this is impossible - it's not. Because I coded a script to do just that, answer every practice question (out of the 150ish python questions there are in total) based off text extraction from the browser. So lets do the math there, 1,440 minutes in a day, 250XP, per minute that's 360k. Every minute of the day, 0 breaks. So it's VERY fair to say, 360k is a grand slam. I'm +150k so far today only letting it run around 4ish hours in total while tweaking along the way. But, why would I win? This guy didn't? https://twitter.com/yoruba_analyst/status/1560543383067787264?s=21&t=9lWk2dvkeMqh_lXXRb_TSA
On a good run, my script was doing 2,500-3k XP per 5 minutes. (1,440 min in day / 5 = 288 runs. 2,500avg XP gain * 288 runs = 720k XP by EOD). So, put that into perspective. For people in the US, UK, Russia, and coders HERE, are getting smoked by Nigerian coders who are so fluent at coding they still learn the basics from DataCamp. On a side note, I got an e-mail today saying my 40k XP day earned me "more XP than 100% of learners!"-- just, not more than the Nigerian NSA, apparently. But no biggie, I like a challenge, so I upped the ante on my script.
Then, I realized... you know what, before Datacrapping myself, why not just look more into this Nigerian group of winners. Besides, we all have some un-answered questions. https://twitter.com/rita_tyna/status/1560639482574954496?s=21&t=9lWk2dvkeMqh_lXXRb_TSA
What a miraculous coincidence that, every DataCamp winner announced so far is apart of "Ingressive4Good"? Come to find out - DataCamp and Ingressive4Good are in some partnership offering scholarships / whatever else to Nigerian students. If you think I'm making up some conspiracy... I'm not, just google a bit. All I'm saying is, no person is bubbling A/B/C/D to an exam faster than a computer script with the answers, for 24 hours straight. If I earn more XP than 100% of Datacamp users in my first DAY of trying this challenge than they earn in one WEEK, I mean... cmon. If there's competition, I wana see it so I know I'm not up against a ghost.
"Winner" after winner, the announcements for each just left even more questions. I mean, whether the "winner's" bio claims they've only been coding a few months, or they're publicly thanking <@Ingressive4Good> for "making this possible" -- that's not even the question I'm asking. What I wana know is, https://twitter.com/milli_c_u/status/1560202943722307586?s=21&t=9lWk2dvkeMqh_lXXRb_TSA
^^^ Does anyone even know what Tipalti is? If not, again.... just, do some google, and you tell me, is Tipalti on the US App Store? Does Tipalti even <<**MAKE/SEND PAYMENTS**>> to US customers?
For all the questions you may have, the answer is simple. You won't beat Datacamp @ their own game, & you won't beat the Nigerians (or any other foreign ethnicity) so long as they're in bed together. If Datacamp support wants to provide some clarification on the issues that've been raised by *plenty* of users on Twitter / Reddit / etc., please, feel more than free. I'd love the explanation. We all would. Until then - don't expect anyone who knows how to code to be claimed a "winner". & In the meantime, just... don't waste your time.
