So we ended up going with the DaVinci autumn 4-in-1 mini crib and it’s been great. It’s sturdy and well-made, my only complaint is that the holes for the screws are open and didn’t come with any caps to cover them, but that’s an aesthetic preference, not an actual issue. Has anyone had issues with the durability of daVinci products? I’ve seen that they have good reviews and the price point is appealing, but I’m worried about how long they’ll last. If you’ve purchased one of their cribs or dressers, have you had any issues with any parts of it breaking or needing replaced?

I ended up getting a 6 foot long 7 drawer dresser from West Elm. (Search Mid-Century 7-Drawer Dresser.) Yes, it was more than I’d normally spend on a nursery dresser but it will last through his teenage years so I won’t need to purchase another one for a long time. We were going to get the same exact dresser but ended up loving a different one from davinci. We haven't ordered yet but plan to soon. For our first child we got a dresser from ikea and put a changing pad on it. Ikea had their own chemical safety standards. Honestly anytime I have put together furniture that people claim is "hard" its just been lots of step. I think people don't read instructions and just claim things as difficult. My husband had a hard time putting our TV stand together and said to return it, I read the instructions and had it put together in an hour. But to each their own. More on reddit.com
