More on reddit.comWe are looking at getting a DaVinci glider and was wondering if anyone has one and if you like it? Trying to decide on which model to get.
Hi! After a long day of in person shopping and finding nothing I'm leaning towards just buying a chair online (I hate not sitting in it first but Im running out of time...)
Is this one comfortable?
Can a 5'10" adult sit upright but still rest their head comfortably against the back of the chair?
How long did yours last?
Anything you were really disappointed by?
Honestly any experiences are helpful at this point...
Update Postpartum:
I bought the chair. It was easy to assemble, it is comfortable for both me and my husband (infact in the last few weeks of pregnancy it was the ONLY comfortable chair in the house for me), I CAN lean my head back comfortably and the wings are a good place to rest my head against!
Bonus pros: the "back support" pillow is great for breastfeeding support, it matches the cheap storage ottoman we bought years ago in color and height so I can now put my feet up while still rocking (great for reducing goot/ankle swelling), kiddo loves the combo rock/swivel motion.
Cons: basically all the negative reviews are fairly accurate: the recliner is hard to lock back down (I have to stand up and back kick it into place), there is some minor squeaking (but I could probably solve this with some tlc), and the seams aren't the strongest. But for the price and the expectation that it will be covered in baby stains and ready to be replaced with something nicer or completely different in a year or two I dont mind the cons!
