Hey guys, I'm upgrading my pc, I already bought a rx 9060xt 16gb and also wanna change my CPU and motherboard (I own a i5 9400f now and mostly play cs2 and other fps games), with this big bump on the RAM prices, I was thinking to get the best possible ddr4 CPU compatible so it could last long and to reuse my ram (I have 16gb 2666mhz), the 2 best option I have seen are the i5 14600k and the Ryzen 7 5800x3d-5700x3d, but I can't find this Ryzens anywhere on the market.
What are your recommendations, are there any other options worth checking out?

Currently running with a RTX3060 and Ryzen 5 5600X
I've been thinking about upgrading GPU, aiming for a 5070 or maybe 5070ti
I've heard that my current CPU could be bottlenecking the 5070, and I also hate stuttering so I'd like to also upgrade the CPU as well
I was looking for maybe a Ryzen 7 9700X, but I couldn't find any motherboard which was compatible with both this GPU and DDR4 RAM. I already own 32 GB DDR4 and with the current crisis there is no way I'm spending 500 euros on RAM.
So I found the Gigabyte B760M which could be paired with an i7-14700. Thing is, i've heard that Intel has had some kind of a bad reputation for a few years, and horror story about CPU overheating.
I would rather go with AMD, which seems to have far better gaming performance
This is my first time doing more than adding a SSD or RAM and i'm a bit nervous i fuck this up, i'd gladly take any advice :)
I’m planning on getting a Ryzen 5 7600x and didn’t want to upgrade my ram unless you think it’s necessary for the next 5 ish years or recommend any cpu if you think this one won’t be any good just looking for a good mobo and cpu combo that’s decently priced and will last a bit

I found out that the motherboard I was gonna buy (Gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax v2) doesn’t support ddr4 ram, whats a good motherboard that supports ddr4 ram, ryzen 5 9600x, and 9070 xt graphics card? Thanks
Hello, I need help finding the best AMD motherboard and cpu that is compatipable with DDR4 ram (by AMD motherboard I mean a motherboard that works with a AMD cpu). I am aware that DDR5 is better, but DDR4 is what I am working with. My goal is to have the PC able to game at 4k 60fps, and I plan on doing some recording and video editing. I would appreciate any help. This is the RAM I have.
