There are two methods:
float_number = float(decimal_number)float_number = decimal_number * 1.0
First one using the built in function and second one without any function, but take care about the 1.0 not 1 as it should be float so the result will be float.

Decimal to Floating-Point Converter - Exploring Binary
June 1, 2018 - Essentially, you can enter what a computer program accepts as a floating-point literal, except without any suffix (like โfโ). Check the boxes for the IEEE precision you want; choose Double, Single, or both. (Double is the default.) Double means a 53-bit significand (less if subnormal) with an 11-bit exponent; Single means a 24-bit significand (less if subnormal) with an 8-bit exponent. Check the boxes for any output format you want; choose one or all ten. (Decimal is the default.) Click โConvertโ to convert.

Just use float:
float_number = float(decimal_number)

Convert -1313.3125 to IEEE 32-bit floating point format. The integral part is 131310 = 101001000012. The fractional: So 1313.312510 = 10100100001.01012. Normalize: 10100100001.01012 = 1.010010000101012 ร 210. Mantissa is 01001000010101000000000, exponent is 10 + 127 = 137 = 100010012, sign bit is 1. So -1313.3125 is 11000100101001000010101000000000 = c4a42a0016 ยท Convert 0.1015625 to IEEE 32-bit floating point format.

March 22, 2024 - However, due to the limited precision of floats, the result is slightly inaccurate. To maintain precision, we should perform the calculation entirely with decimals: result = decimal_num * Decimal('3.14') print(result) # Output: 6.594 ยท The use cases for converting decimals to floats are numerous.

You can just do a cast
int val1 = 1;
float val2 = (float)val1;
or
decimal val3 = 3;
float val4 = (float)val3;

The same as an int:
float f = 6;
Also here's how to programmatically convert from an int to a float, and a single in C# is the same as a float:
int i = 8;
float f = Convert.ToSingle(i);
Or you can just cast an int to a float:
float f = (float)i;

Python <2.7
"%.15g" % f
Or in Python 3.0:
format(f, ".15g")
Python 2.7+, 3.2+
Just pass the float to Decimal constructor directly, like this:
from decimal import Decimal
Decimal(f)

I suggest this
>>> a = 2.111111
>>> a
2.1111110000000002
>>> str(a)
'2.111111'
>>> decimal.Decimal(str(a))
Decimal('2.111111')
