Planning to get the Deepcool AS500 Plus in white colour with Asus Aura Sync compatible motherboard (Asus Prime Z690 D4 P).

Also getting Corsair QL 120 fans for my case. It will come as a three pack with the Lightning Core Node included.

I know that the cooler is compatible with Aura Sync and Aura Sync is compatible with Corsair iCUE.

The question is, can Deepcool AS500 Plus be controlled and synced with the Corsair iCUE?

The TDP of i7 13700 KF is 150W and the TDP of Deepcool AS500 is 220W. TDPs for coolers are even more arbitrary and useless than TDPs on CPUs. For gaming loads it'll be... barely adequate. Would Deepcool AS500 PLUS be a sufficient cooler for 14700K?

A single-tower 140mm cooler on a 14700K, that's gonna be problematic once all those cores get loaded up. It'll be fine for most gaming - barely - but expect severe thermal throttling in anything very multithreaded. Have you looked at any reviews for this CPU? It roughly ties the 13900K and 14900K for "hottest desktop CPU ever sold". More on reddit.com

I'm building my PC and facing a dilemma about this currently. I've approached pretty much the end of my budget so I need to save on a CPU cooler. Since I do not plan to overclock my CPU, can I get away with a budget cooler like Deepcool AS500?

You should be fine. Techpowerup review shows it competing well, even with dual tower coolers. I own one and it performs exactly the same as my pa120 but looks way better imo
