It did a reasonable job on my Intel 5630? I do not remember if those are the precise numbers but it is the six core, Haswell, LGA 2011 Intel processor. For my use the idle temperatures were extremely good when I was running AutoCAD the temperature rose some but not dangerously for the processor. I do not know AMD processors that while to know for sure.

Description of Original Problem: I do not want to throw away my old Intel cooler (Deepcool Assassin II), I want to install it now to AM4 (Aorus x470 Ultra Gaming), but the installation leaflet does not show details for mounting it on AM4.
I have precise bracket for AM4, but it is impossible to tighten the screws on back plate, it is loose!!!
Using screws nr. 22, and back plate is falling down few millimeters. It is not tightening to motherboard.
What am I doing wrong? Am I missing some other piece?
Please if anyone had this cooler and know how to tighten the back plate with provided screws, help me.
