Senate passes $858bn defense bill that rescinds army Covid vaccine mandate
To win GOP support for the 4,408-page bill, Democrats agreed to Republican demands to scrap the requirement for service members to get a Covid-19 vaccination. The bill directs Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to rescind his August 2021 memorandum imposing the mandate.
I have yet to here a coherent argument on the difference between the COVID-19 vaccine (or the multiple vaccines there are) and the 17 other vaccines soldiers have to receive. Or however many it is exactly.

Because you don't have people being cut off food stamps, not paying teachers enough, healthcare for all. Space Force us a much better place to put all that money. It's going to take years to fix his fuck ups.

I would rather just get rid of the draft, but I guess that would torpedo too many people's fantasies about fighting another WWII style of war.
That said, it'll be nice to not have to hear "But women can't get drafted" from anti-feminists.
