Answer (1 of 7): I have found that if a driver can't complete his whole route on the day specified, sometimes they will put delivery attempted on a few remaining packages. If you don't get it the day after when they say it was attempted then call Amazon customer service.

So I ordered something that was supposed to arrive today and I just checked my Amazon account and it says that 'an attempt was made to deliver it'. I was at home the whole day and I haven't heard any door knocks or bell, and there is no note telling me anything.
They also say they will attempt to re-deliver on the next business day. Today is Saturday, so I'm assuming that I won't get it tomorrow. Does this change if you're using Prime; like will they try to deliver it tomorrow (Sunday) or will it still be Monday?

This happened to me some years ago when waiting for my new TV. The delivery guy didn't want to bring the big box upstairs and it was one of his last stops. When I saw that they attempted to deliver, I called support and they called the guy at home and made him come back to deliver it. He was pissed but he should done his job correctly to begin with. So just call support.
