I go to upgrade my ram to run more vms but now when i start my pc i hear 5 beeps with no display. I’ve tried taking the ram out and placing them in one at a time. Changed the coin battery. If i keep it on the fans will start running faster. Not sure what to do at this point

My laptop tried to update itself despite having no connection. When I pressed the power button the display went black and now isn't coming back. It still turns on but stops at a black screen, so the display still works at least.
I let the battery run out thinking it just needed to reset itself, but now when I turn it back on it does a 3-4 beep code:
beep beep beep, (pause) beep beep beep beep
That loops every few seconds.
It doesn't have any lights on it, so I track it being on with a game controller that lights up.
How can I fix this?
Just built my first Gaming PC, and I’m in the process of testing it. Now, I’m running into issues when booting it up: I hear 5 quick beeps while a red light flashes for a few seconds, and my monitor shows no display. From what I’ve read on Google, and watched on YouTube, the 5 quick beeps indicate a GPU error.
But I’m puzzled: my GPU properly clicked into its dock, it’s been screwed tightly in place, hooked up to the power source, the GPU fans are working, and the HDMI & Display Port are evidently working because the monitor is on, yet there’s no display due to the aforementioned 5 error beeps.
Does anyone know what else could be wrong, and what should I do?

Hi there **removed**, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.
When you start your Dell laptop can you still see the Dell logo?
We need to run the hardware diagnostics to see which hardware fails on your laptop.
Please turn off your laptop.
Then turn it back on.
As soon as you power it back on press the F12 button on your keyboard repeatedly to pull up the Boot options.
Once you are in the Boot options choose Hardware Diagnostics or Diagnostics and press enter.
Let the diagnostics run and finish and take note of the hardware error it will give you.
