The log snippet you added is just the portion of the smsts log where it checks all the steps, but it's not the portion of where the install is occurring. You can also check your AppEnforcement log as well as that will be populated with the installation attempt too. More on reddit.com

I just got auto-updated to 4.0.0. We use CLI to set the automatic reboot to never but that option is no longer available in the new version and it reverts to one hour.
I don't know if this is a bug or Dell has removed 'never' as an option.

September 18, 2025 - I've just been on with a Dell engineer this morning and it appears the new Dell Command Update software no longer works with Enterprise versions of Windows (10 and 11) - Version 5.5.0 · Got a ticket logged with Dell and awaiting further updates but we had the same DEP_Hard_Error issue · We had to install the previous version 5.4.0, but then there are issues running the software so you have to go and open it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\CommandUpdate the first time so it can apply permissions to that folder - after that it runs perfectly fine from the Start menu etc.
