Yes Dell can configure BIOS settings, I believe it falls under their Basic Deployment services. I've never used support assist and instead push out Dell Command Update for driver and BIOS updates. More on reddit.com

Is anyone having issue with DCUv5.0 Legacy in your Task Sequence?

I was able to install DCUv5.0 locally. Once we uninstalled DCUv5.0 to test using Software center, which we didn't get that fair yet.

We noticed when trying to install locally on the same machine.

Take the dcu exe and uncompress it. You will find msi installer in the contents!

Got this issue and I used the "Extract" rather than "Install" option on the installation screen. Select the folder to "Extract" to and when the extract is finished run the DCU_Setup_ application file from the folder you extracted the files to.

By the way, does dell oem do customised setting for bios?

Dell does have a Dell Ready Image program, where they can configure your bios. You can also doing it by Intune, by installing the Dell Intune Management Extension.
