what is the wattage of the gpu (rtx 3060) ???? i heard many opinions some said 70 to 90 watts and others said 115 to 125 or 130 watts ??
i want any owner of this specific machine to tell me please
dell help and support also some say 70 -90 and some others said 115 so even dell don't know !!!!!

This depends on the FGA module they use but here is the Dell Sales Representative answer: G5 5511 – SIF 15 TGL-H RTX, 3050 – TGP: 80W RTX 3050Ti – TGP: 80W RTX 3060 – TGP: 115W Seeing FGA module name is a bit tricky since Dell changed it's page. Once you add it to your basket, click `View specs` and then it scroll down to FGA module. Don't let G5 in this list confuse you, it's G15's internal naming for some reason. And for the real product, it's 115W and max showing 130W on NVIDIA software for me. Also, this is the baseline, of course, dynamic boost can make a difference which I didn't test.

Advice for next time: dont trust what dell support say, trust me lol. Everyone is right though its 115+15

I currently have the Dell G15 5511 gaming laptop with an Intel core i7-11800h and a rtx 3060 which I got 2 years ago for $1,350. I have some pros and cons about this laptop. One pro is that it’s not too heavy to carry around when traveling. My second pro is that the screen is not bad quality and is somewhat decent. My third pro is that the refresh rate is not too bad for example in Fortnite with all settings low I get 300 fps but that’s still not the best. My cons are that I used to play Roblox and BeamNG and it crashed a ton when I played them. My second con is that a month after I got it, the motherboard broke and had to get replaced. And my third con is that the graphics card wasn’t enough for me. It would have extremely high ping and low fps on high quality settings and games. Honestly, my personal opinion is that this is not a good laptop for gaming and you could definitely get a better one for around the same price.

Utter Crap. My supervisor got two of these, one for work to replace my Dead laptop, and one personal to give his daughter a laptop. Mine - Power started acting up on the Laptop. Dell come in replace MB. Near the end of the Warranty the laptop simply died, needing to send it to Dell to get it repaired. (By this time the the other Laptop that was bought for his Daughter was having similar issues to mine) Worked for 9 more months, and once again the MB is screwing up. I am not able to unplug it and have it go to battery. It just shuts down and won't boot till I disconnect the Battery and reconnect it. Which has been the problem I am having all along.
