My laptop had issues with BT card, I found, that solution is turn it off, remove the battery and hold the power button for 10 sec to remove residual charge - however, after the procedure, it won't turn on - at all. With the power adaptor connected, charging indicator worked until battery got fully charged, now it just flashes after connecting, nothing else happens. Can anybody advice?

SOLVED! I disassembled the laptop to try CMOS reset. When I was at it, I checked voltage of the CMOS battery - it was at 2.8V (Vs 3.2V on the new one), so I changed it. What a relieve when I heard the fan spinning. Not sure, if the original issue was caused by some random bug or CMOS corruption due to the low voltage.

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (Celeron 3035), and I’m hoping someone here might have an idea of what’s going on. Yesterday, the laptop was working completely fine. It was charging normally, and I used it without any problems. I shut it down as usual.
Today, it won’t turn on at all, no signs of life:
No LED lights
No fan noise
No screen activity
Completely unresponsive
Here’s everything I’ve already tried:
-Plugged in the original charger (which was working yesterday)
-Tested with a different compatible Dell charger
-Removed the battery and tried powering it with charger only
-Reconnected the battery and tried again
-Did a power reset (held power button for 20–30 seconds with everything disconnected)
-Tried different power outlets
Nothing changed, still completely dead.
Important detail: it was charging normally yesterday, so this happened suddenly overnight.
At this point, I’m wondering:
-Could this be a DC jack issue?
-Motherboard power circuit failure?
-Something else I’m missing?
Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

With zero lights or response on AC or battery, it’s almost definitely a motherboard failure.

The power LED on the AC adapter. With the adapter disconnected from the computer, connect the AC Adapter to the wall outlet, does the LED on the adapter brick (or DC cable end) come on? If it does, then the AC adapter is operational. If you connect the DC cable to the computer, does the AC adapter LED turn off? If it does, the motherboard has a short to ground. If that occurs, then it is likely the motherboard. Motherboard prices vary from about $65 to $200 based on exact model and availability. Labor for a motherboard is generally around $100 USD (varies depending upon your region. Also note, there could be other failing components. A comparable Dell DC15250 starts at about $350 USD. Does your laptop have a removable battery? If it does have a removable battery then try removing the battery, plugging the laptop into the power supply and try turning it on. · I have seen computers with bad batteries in the past not turn on with the battery connected to the laptop.

Try what David suggested, but you should also simply try using a different electrical outlet. Or you could try using a new power adapter since there is no light on the power adapter you were already using.
