Laptop is charged and off.
There is nothing, no button, no sensor or anything in between the screen and the keyboard.
There is nothing on the left and right sides of the keyboard, only ports.
The top-right most key on the keyboard is blank. I thought this might be the power, but I've pressed it, held it for varying amounts of time, to no avail.
Since nothing so far has worked I suspect the power might be sensor/fingerprint-activated, but I don't know where I would have to touch in that case, and for how long.
I have turned the laptop on before, but I don't remember how.
I would share a photo, but I'm on my phone and can't send anything on reddit mobile browser.

Power button is the blank key on the top right of the keyboard. If it's the actual model series I'm thinking of, it's going to require a motherboard replacement. I am familiar with the actual issue, but I cannot disclose the information.

SOLVED! I disassembled the laptop to try CMOS reset. When I was at it, I checked voltage of the CMOS battery - it was at 2.8V (Vs 3.2V on the new one), so I changed it. What a relieve when I heard the fan spinning. Not sure, if the original issue was caused by some random bug or CMOS corruption due to the low voltage. More on reddit.com

Dell laptops have issues with the power regulation chip. What you need to do is pull the back cover off and unplug both the main battery and the CMOS battery. You need to be very very careful removing the CMOS battery. Do not pull the battery out by the wires. I find it’s best to use a plastic pry tool of some form, whether it be a spudger, old credit card or some other thin semi-semi blunt plastic tool. If you rock the two sides back and forth then push out the connector down the center, it will come out. The CMOS battery looks like this: https://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/igi/rWTpWLLvSdZ36TQU.large Once you have both batteries unplugged, hold the power button for 60 seconds. Yes, really, 60 seconds. Plug both batteries back in and plug in the charger, then attempt to turn the laptop on. If all went well, the CPU fan should spin over a few times before the machine finally boots back up. My laptop had issues with BT card, I found, that solution is turn it off, remove the battery and hold the power button for 10 sec to remove residual charge - however, after the procedure, it won't turn on - at all. With the power adaptor connected, charging indicator worked until battery got fully charged, now it just flashes after connecting, nothing else happens. Can anybody advice?

I don't even see any lights on. Typically something lights up to acknowledge power is coming in. Could be charging port. Could be battery. Could be board.
