Got my XPS 15 9560 full speced out from outlets for $1300 OOP (with a little cheating with cashback site though. hahahahaha) Only down side is the battery has only 87Wh health left on arrival. Not a huge deal for me though since I mostly use it plugged-in. More on reddit.com

While the sticker reduction seems like a screaming deal. The specssay otherwise. 1080p non oled without a gpu is hardly going to go over $1500 anywhere. If it have 4k, oled or a gpu then yeah it's a great deal l. It doesn't seem like a bad deal. Just a regular one. More on reddit.com

I've bought and sold and purchased Dell's for others for a couple of decades now. I repair a lot of them. The Latitudes were the best for work - better warranties, better quality control, better support and easier to repair. After owning a few Inspirons, I moved on. I've been pleased with several XPS laptops - a good blend of power, affordability and repairability - not gaming laptops though. I also buy the lower spec'd units and upgrade the RAM and SSD drives after purchase for a fraction of what Dell would charge. Getting your laptops with an extended warranty is good. I usually just get the 1 year warranty and when Dell reaches out to extend it, I push for a deal. I've usually been able to get another year for 1/2 price when I politely bargain with the Dell reps. If you're in the US, definitely look at the refurbed and scratch and dent units. I've bought many this way for like 50% off and they were perfect. If you put one in your cart, realize it will only be saved there for 15 minutes - the turnover is very quick. More on reddit.com
