The 7320 should handle your described use case with ease. As an aside (in response to another comment), RAM is integrated so you will not be able to upgrade RAM in the future. It is a well-packed machine for most daily tasks (apart from resource-intensive apps). I would consider a 14 inch model at all costs because those are more repairable (by not having soldered RAM) and offer more ports alongside a more comfortable keyboard. More on reddit.com

Seems like a good deal but you're gonna end up upgrading the storage and ram down the line anyways so try getting the 512gb version if you can to make it last at least a year before an upgrade

I see good deals online for these refurbished. Definitely tempting for a Windows tablet, but I see reviews all over the place and it is a 3 year old product line. Can anyone make recommendations for or against picking one up in 2024?

Just took delivery of mine. I5 1140G7; 16GB RAM. So far I am pretty impressed with it. Build quality and design are great. The screen, even though I thought the "low" resolution would bother me, is actually very good as well, so no complaints here. Battery life for office tasks seems to be around 6-7 hours. What I dislike: The keyboard to some extent, even though key travel as well as feedback are very nice, you cannot lie it flat on the table, so there is always a little bit of wobble when typing. That being said, it is still a fantastic keyboard and I can write fast and without errors. Performance: Obviously in the tablet, DELL put the low power variants of the I5 and I7 chips. Performance for everyday tasks is very snappy, but if you plan on doing something more intensive like playing games, I would strongly advise against. I tested Apex Legends on it and while the machine has the potential to run it, it throttles the CPU down to 400MHZ from time to time. I only encountered this bevhaviour when playing, have not had any issues with it outside of that. Overall, having spend around 24H with it, I think it is a fantastic little device if you want to use it for office work/data analysis and probably some light coding, as well as media consumption. The CPU handles all these tasks with ease and the tablet does not get loud. It is also pretty light for its size.
