July 18, 2022 - Intel i5-8500 CPU. I purchased Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2666Mhz (HX426C16FB2/8) 2x8GB=16GB. The amber codes are 2/7, so a memory error. I tried them one at a time, same error. I restored the original 4GB Micron stick and it starts fine.

Check the power brick first. See if it has a light and then power cycle it.

This is one of the book-sized ones, right? Two possibilities come to immediate mind. 1 - The BIOS battery is dead (they're four years old at this point) 2 - The power brick needs to be replaced. I always recommend Dell genuine for safety and longevity.
