the white plastic come out . And the handle is just placed in like a gear ⚙️, a good wiggle back and forth up and down and it’ll come out . If it breaks that’s fine the cartridge is plastic Delta RP46463 is the cartridge you need . More on reddit.com

I can’t seem to find an easy lookup for handles this old. Any ideas how to figure out what I need before tackling the project?

You can’t. But I can tell you it’s a 1300

It's either the Delta RP46074 or a Delta RP19804. There's no way to tell which one it is until you take it apart. So buy both and return the one you don't use.
