I am trying to replace the delta handle on my tub. But when I type in the numbers on the peices into Delta's website or even a Google search, no matches pop up to help figure out the proper replacement peice.
After trying to figure this out with no success, I just bought a handle replacement at Lowes today (the last picture attached) hoping it would work, but it doesn't work because it is missing a hexagon looking metal knut in the handle that attaches to the valve on the wall (seen in the 2nd picture). Without the hex knut, it's not long enough to attach to the valve on the tub wall.
Numbers I was able to find on my delta peices:
on the handle: 88055 (next line under that says L-2)
on the metal that is on the wall mounted valve piece: 413763
Any help is appreciated! As a first time home owner, I am slowly learning how to DIY house projects, and this one has me stumped! Sorry for any wrong terms, I know nothing about plumbing and this is my first plumbing related project I am attempting.
I am looking to replace the hideous acrylic ball knob on my Delta shower faucet with a lever but am getting some conflicting information from googling. Can I simply swap my acrylic ball with a lever handle without replacing the ball valve, and if so could someone suggest the appropriate lever handle. I have the diamond shaped ball stem shaft that has two flat spots (pics included) on it suggesting that I could use a lever handle with a set screw. Thanks
Hello- I am looking for the correct part # to replace my shower knob. I have added photos of my setup- there is a "slot" inside the knob that needs to align with the lever. I would appreciate any expertise/help this community could provide. Thank you.
