Modern browsers support JSON.parse().

var arr_from_json = JSON.parse( json_string );

In browsers that don't, you can include the json2 library.

Just write a class. Others have made you aware of dynamics. I'm going to encourage you to not use them. Defeats the entire point of using a strongly typed language. More on reddit.com

How to deserialize json of object literals into nested class instances?
JSON inherently is going to break some encapsulation, but that's ok. The root class can accept the entire JSON blob via it's constructor. It can initialize the fields it needs to using it, and pass remaining child fields to other class constructors. If you want your public constructors to have a different behavior, then what you can do it make your constructor private, then require people to initialize your class through static factory functions like fromJson() or create(). JavaScript doesn't have a built in way to do private constructors - what you have to do is make a private "key" variable that holds a unique object or symbol that you create in the module your class is in, and you never publicly export it. Your constructor takes this key as it's first parameter and asserts that it's correct. The factory functions on your class can provide that key to the constructor. More on reddit.com

JSON.stringify() - JavaScript - MDN Web Docs
If you are using JSON.stringify() to deep-copy an object, you may instead want to use structuredClone(), which supports circular references. JavaScript engine APIs for binary serialization, such as v8.serialize(), also support circular references. In a case where you want to store an object created by your user and allow it to be restored even after the browser has been closed, the following example is a model for the applicability of JSON.stringify():

For example, you can use the replacer parameter of JSON.stringify() for this purpose:
