I’m moving into a apartment room a few months later and need help with furniture placement. The room looks like the picture drawn, and I’m unsure where should I place my L shaped desk and bed. The semi circle thing is the door and the space on the top right is a window. I’m debating where to put my bed and in what direction. Any advice would help.
So I just got a new place and needs a new Computer Desk to go with it (throwing my old white tiny computer desk that's like 20-something years old away that my grandma gave me, lol)
old white desk - 15.5 x 42 inches ( regular rectangle table top size)
But I have no idea which L shaped desk is good nowadays, such a size, quality, durability, usability, etc etc.
But I do somewhat know what I want in a Desk.
.
fairly good sized table top for keyboard, mouse, 24-inch monitor, speaker on one (I also plan to get a larger monitor in the future)
and the other side of table top for my 17-inch laptop, mouse and maybe a Printer (current laptop is on a small foldable table)
need shelves/ drawers to store stuff (door or no door)
.
I looked a bit at Amazon, Home Depot, Office Depot and LOWE'S to see what they have (Can't do IKEA... the nearest IKEA is like 1+ hours away... lol) (also, I only checked a couple pages in Amazon, there's a lot of desks on Amazon)
.
Such as SEDETA L Shaped Desk 66-inch $209.99 - (not sure if 66-inch is way too big or not, is this a normal computer desk size now? lol) (also... I have Chrome Fakespot extension as someone recommended me getting, and it tagged this with a "This seller has a Caution", so I am not sure how good quality this desk is)
Especially since this one from LOWE'S... Tribesigns Hoga Computer Desk $189.00 - (that seems to have the exact same design as the right side of the Amazon desk, but costs only $20 less...) (so I am not sure if the Amazon one's a great deal, or it's cause of shitty cheap material cost)
Tho there are a lot of other SEDETA brand L Shaped desk on Amazon with pretty good "Amazon rating", but they all have "caution" from Fakespot.
.
I also saw this one from Amazon Tbfit L Shaped Desk $199.99 - (that seems to be a bit smaller than the SEDETA but seems to be a fairly good quality with some shelves) (tho it also has a caution from Fakespot... is this Fakespot thing reliable?)
.
Saw another one by ODK Corner Computer Desk 61-inch $179.99 - (but it seems to be a lot smaller than the other ones, especially one side is only 13.8-inch... that's smaller than my old white desk...) (however this one has a "This seller is Approved" by Fakespot, lol)
.
And this Funky looking one, lol Teraves Modern L Shaped Desk $199.99 - (not 100% sure how I feel about this, but I am sorta digging the main monitor in the middle and laptop/ printer on side)
.
And that's mostly of the best ones I saw from a couple of pages in Amazon and LOWE'S. However I have no idea what the Quality/ Durability for any of the Desks are)
Also, is it better to buy the Desks as L Shape or is it better to buy like 2 regular desks and then combine them to form a L shape?
Anyone want to recommend me some Good L shaped or regular Shaped that can be combined Desks?
Or do you think any of the above are good? (also, the seller (company) from Amazon have a lot of other style of Desks that they sell, but I am not sure which ones is good)
