(I’m not asking about Alienware in general, it’s just an eye catching image I chose) I’m currently saving for a PC and am contemplating buying a pre-built from a physical store due to the fear of a virtually purchased one being stolen off of my porch and am now left wondering if any Best Buy PCs are actually any good.

I’m wanting to stay between $800-$1000.

Is $200 worth it for a little better processor and a stick of 16gm ddr5 ram?

Want to stick with Best Buy because I have zero interest for 24 months. Any other suggestions are welcome :)

I am a designer in the US, an illustrator, i do a little of everything. I use Adobe I may play with Unity or GameMaker. Light video editing. I know a $2000 buget isn't spectacular. That's a computer + monitor mind you. I am counting on the 24 mo 0 interest at Best Buy. So if some computer savy pros can browse Best Buy and give me the best combo. The options are a wheee bit overwhelming. I think PC over Apple. Intel Nividia not AMD. Is a gaming pc good for design video editing light game building? What is the best BestBuy Desktop/Laptop? Not big into the all in ones unless there is some reason I should be. Any advice would be really helpful.
