Hi Everyone,
I want to warn everyone who will buy the Lenovo M625 computer staples. The machine is NOT CAPABLE of running Windows 11 PRO on the computer. I bought this computer in Aug 2024 and in Sept 2024 I had a motherboard replacement from Lenovo because the computer is freeing and not responding at all. I called Lenovo and they did a mobo replacement and when I try to install Windows 11 Pro it says the system does not meet the minimum requirements. I spoke with Lenovo and the said this PC does not run Windows 11 Pro and they said that Staples installed Windows 11 Pro when the computer is not capable of running it. Here is my link to the information https://www.reddit.com/r/Lenovo/comments/1frtwx3/lenovo_hardware_failure_rate_high_m625_think/.
I just want to alert users before anyone buys it and it passed the 14 days and Staples will not refund your money. Staple is VERY deceptive saying the computer can run Windows 11 Pro when it really can't run Windows 11 Pro. I have contacted Lenovo many times and they keep saying Windows 11 Pro will not work. I have to take days off from work the tech to come to my house and do a motherboard repair and it is very time consuming. The computer for staples is here https://www.staples.com/lenovo-thinkcentre-m625-mini-desktop-amd-a4-9120c-8gb-memory-128gb-ssd-windows-11-pro-10tls0mb00/product_24593281
It states the computer has no OS that came with the system.
He went on this whole spiel about how windows security is garbage and "PCs come barebones like Spirit Flights" meaning you just get the PC and not the software. It's a $350 PC and he was trying to sell me on their $300 Total Protection Plan where "they manage the security for you", which sounds terrible. But he said he didn't know when the last time was when someone came in and didn't get a protection plan. I use Windows Security on my $2k gaming PC, doesn't everyone else? I don't know what kind of comission they make but either its a shit ton or I am totally wrong. I told him I see mcaffee as preinstalled junk on PCs that just shows you ads to buy it every second. Am I not wrong?
