r/desmos on Reddit: Shade Area Between 4 Lines
May 11, 2020 -

I'm trying to shade the area between 4 different lines that all intersect, but none are flat. I have the coordinates of the points as well, effectively making a quadrilateral, but I always get the error of unsolved double inequalities. I can't use the polygon function because I need to add a statement to the end of it to check if a variable is less than 0, and using {var > 0} doesn't work since polygons don't accept that for some reason.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

How to shade in the empty parts on the left and right using an equation in a Desmos graphing calculator - Quora
Answer: It’s hard to guess all of the formulas you are using to create the shapes in your answer, but apparently l(x) and j(x) jointly define one of the (apparent) ellipses, and k(x) and m(x) define the other. In graphing a double inequality, Desmos will only shade those points with x ...

January 29, 2022 - When graphing quadratic inequalities, first graph the quadratic equation then pick a point that is not on the parabola itself and plug it into the original inequality. If the statement is true, shade in the area where that point lies.

October 11, 2022 - write one circle's inequality, then the other inside {} curly brackets. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/cy5l8uc4ew ... Solved, thank you!! ... You can also just shade the non overlapping regions by using the opposite inequality.
