Opinions on DCW210N cordless orbital sander?
I like my 210.i do use a corded for longer jobs but the grab and go of the cordless is great. Popular mechanics rated it #2 (behind the Bosch corded, so not a true comparison) You should still wear a mask when possible, fine dust will kill ya eventually. More on reddit.com

May 23, 2021Just got a new cordless 5" random orbital sander. However when the sander is on, it will not spin unless you put it on what you're sanding. If this is what's supposed to happen then great but I guess I just expected it to spin no matter what.
Yeah that’s normal. That’s how mine works. Also I would recommend the Diablo mesh pads if you do a lot of woodworking. I took the gamble and they last much longer and they allow the dust to get sucked out much easier. More on reddit.com

The dewalt cordless sander makes my fingers go numb pretty quickly... so I just got a corded festool sander. It still vibrates a lot, but the dust collection is great so at least it has that going for it. Not sure if dewalt makes a corded sander that is as high quality as festool or mirka... I'd be interested to know even though I already bought the tool. I love cordless, but since I will always have the dust hose connected the power cord clipped the vacuum hose is not much of an extra hassle. In case you also have fingers go numb, I also got anti-vibration gloves that seem to help a little.
