The vac is good, if you’re going to be cleaning bilges make sure you pull the filter. That filters also washable, so wash and leave in the sun for an afternoon and it’ll be refreshed. Never use compressed air. It’s an old picture of the vac. Dewalt deleted the 18v stem pack port about 4 years ago. It only works with the 20v packs. I highly recommend using a 5ah pack with this minimum. All these vacs are energy hungry. More on reddit.com

I feel like all of the Costco-specific items are hit or miss, but with their return policy, it’s often worth the gamble as long as you’re willing to wait in their long lines. That said, I bought an air purifier at Costco and now can’t find the replacement filters anywhere, because I don’t think they exist, so that could also be an issue with a wet/dry vac. If you’re still shopping around, there’s a Reddit user who has put a thread with a ton of research together on all the different types of vacuums. Their database should help you narrow down your options in no time.

Wondering if this thing is any good?
Want to use it for vacuuming out the cars every weekend and small drilling/sanding/cutting projects around the house. Another possible use for me would be engine rooms on yachts. I do yacht management and sometimes I have to vacuum out water ingress in the bilges. It would be nice not to have to carry my bucket top and extension cord when I have to do this.
If anyone has used it let me know of suction and how it is overall! Thank you

i have the 20/120 model and its.... ok. not thrilled with it , but its pretty sweet when i go to change a ptrap or something in a tenant unit. did a terrible job cleanup up after i broke a ceiling tile lol
