I try calling 1-855-345-7447 and I get one of those automated phone company messages "bloop bleep boop, Your call did not go through. Please try again later" messages during office hours. That is until the office closes then it works perfectly and I get DHLs automated response telling me to call back during office hours.
I sent them an email days ago and still no reply. I have a Tangem hardware wallet in London right now that wants $32 for import duty/customs clearance and VAT. It breaks down to approximately $19 for import and the rest for VAT on an $80 item.
I live in Canada. I'm trying to dispute the charges one because I don't understand why I have to pay England anything. It's coming to Canada from Slovenia and it's from a Swiss company. For one Canada has a free trade agreement with the EU and both Switzerland and Slovenia are members of the EU. Also NFC cards are exempt under that agreement. The amount they are asking for is an estimate of what they might be. Based on DHLs guess the charges MIGHT be, which I'm assuming are the max they could be.
I need to reach them before they send the package back to the company. I've had multiple things shipped through companies other than DHL that have originated elsewhere in Europe and have landed in England before reaching Canada. Never have I been asked for import duties and taxes before.
Personally I think it's a common DHL tactic to ask for these types of fees based on what could happen. Then if there ends up being no charges or lesser ones they hope that the customer doesn't bother to request a refund.
Can anyone give me a number that actually works during office hours and/or tell me if Tangem wallet's actually are subject to such import duty and taxes? If they are can you give me the HS code that they fall under? I would like to read what it says about them.
Thanks for any help
How do I manage to speak to customer services. My parcel has been out for delivery 3 times. It's always last drop so I'm presuming the driver is over hours and needs to get back but the lack of communication is awful. The website doesn't help, no response to emails and the telephone line doesn't do anything but go through automated replies. Ta.
If I do not have my tracking number, is it still possible to track my shipment?
Why is my tracking number/ID not working?
What Is a Tracking Number & Where Can I Find It?
Like many of you, my package arrived in Cincinnati and hasn't moved or been updated since June 1 (expected delivery was Originally June 4, and now there is just nothing in regards to expected delivery on the tracking page). I saw some posts on here so I called customer service 2 different times. First rep told me "This hub is busy, but expect your package to be pushed 1 extra day from the expected delivery date". Second rep told me she's looking into it and will contact me Monday. I'm hoping for a miracle and that my package moves in the next few days, but if not, is it even worth continuing to call and have them look into it further? Will it somehow get them to push my package along? I REALLY needed this package to arrive by June 9, so when it initially had June 4 as expected delivery I was happy. But now after all the horror stories on here......I'm nervous to say the least.
When I try to call the Canada number it’s all a bunch of automated bs. How do I talk to someone
I see a lot of people out there struggling to actually speak to a human at DHL. For those who are curious just call the number, wait until after the Spanish part and then say "speak to a representative" while the voice goes over the various options. It will then ask if this is about tracking a package. If you say yes it'll bring you back to an automatic voice, so say no and there ya go. You'll have a human on the other line in less than a minute.
I promise this has a legitimate question and isn’t just a complaint (though that’s baked in too). Simple enough, waiting on a package shipped from US to Italy. I’m leaving my current location soon (on vacation traveling), and need my package redirected as DHL’s late by now 2+ days on their delivery.
Even if this isn’t something DHL is capable of, it’d be great to at least talk to someone and get some answers (namely a new estimated delivery date beyond what I already mentioned above). Instead, I’ve chatted with a useless chat bot and gone down just about every branch of the phone tree to find that DHL doesn’t have support agents in on the weekend.
I guess I’m just frustrated that a shipping company can staff the shipping end of business but not the customer service end. Are weekend shippers just screwed if something happens to their package or if they need help? Who am I supposed to talk to?
I ordered a special custom coffee mug for my girfriend and I's anniversary last month and the company used DHL to ship the item. The item was supposed to arrive at my apartment in Ottawa, Canada on May 19th, but it hadn't even crossed the border into Canada until May 24th. When the tracking page indicated that the parcel had arrived in Canada, the tracking page status said "Arrival at destination country - end of tracking, delivery shortly", however it was never ever delivered. I reached out to Snapfish (the company that I bought the coffee mug from) and they looked into it and they told me that they suspected that DHL lost the package and they sent me another mug. This package was supposed to arrive yesterday (June 15th), but once again, the tracking page just says that it is in Transit (with no location given) and it says "Arrival at destination country - end of tracking, delivery shortly." I have yet to see the package and I can't monitor its progress for some reason. It already sounds like the same thing is going to happen again.
It does say that once it arrives in Canada, it will be delivery by the local postal service (CanadaPost), but the local tracking number provided is a USPS code and the USPS website stopped tracking the moment the parcel left the US.
I reached out to DHL through their support email form for the first package and I never got a reply. No point reaching out to Snapfish again because they will probably see the same thing and just resend the order. I called the local Canadian DHL support line and they couldn't help because it's an e-commerce package and the lady transferred me to another line (1-800-805-9306) and when I go through the options for tracking, it's just an automated voice that says - YOUR PACKAGE WILL ARRIVE. I tried pressing '0' a bunch of times but it would just disconnect me. How the heck can I find out the wearabouts of my package???
I'd really appreciate some help!
Hello,
I would like to know how to deal with a wrong delivery. The sender used DHL Express, and the e-mail I received from DHL had the correct address.
Yesterday DHL updated it to partially delivered, saying it was in the mailroom (which wasn't), and today they dropped the second part, but it was nowhere to be found.
DHL added a photo of a mailroom that I have never seen, and the proof of delivery did not contain any signature (I did not waive the signature since the package was expensive).
I tried to call their customer service, but there was just a chatbot answering. I tried to use their live chat from the website, but they just apologized and disconnected the chat without giving any answers at all (twice).
I do not know how to proceed and am pretty stressed out. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance
Just like the title says, all the Chicago DHL express points in the Chicago area are closed. I assume this has to do with the strikes happening in Cincinnati. What I'm worried about is that I had a package that was supposed to be delivered a week ago. It's finally in the area, but I'm really worried my package won't ever come.
I have a order coming from Germany to Portugal and theres no update since the 23 of the previous month, nobody knows where the package is, local couries and DHL in Portugal both told me that they didnt recieve nothing so far and the seller is also waiting a reply.
In the DHL German website theres a local phone number, but my German is almost non existing, so i need to send a English email or any sort of written contact.
What should i do?
Thanks
Took me hours to figure out this phone number, sharing here in the hope that it’ll save someone else some time
UK number for DHL Parcel, to speak to a human without needing the numbers you won’t have if they’ve messed up, is
02477 711922
I’ve been dealing with DHL about a package stuck in Germany for over 40 days. I reached out to their customer support, asked them several specific questions about my package, and even explicitly told them what NOT to reply with (like generic responses that don’t address my concerns).
What do they do? Exactly the opposite. They give me the same canned, useless responses and completely ignore my actual questions. No explanations, no updates, nothing helpful. It’s like talking to a wall.
Anyone else had this kind of experience with DHL?
Hello everyone, I recently spent two months in DHL limbo and thought I’d give a bit of Updated advice as the last post I saw on how to contact customer services didn’t work for me.
For a bit of context, DHL was delivering a package for me and when the initial delivery date came they never sent a confirmation email to confirm it had been delivered. I checked with their “Track a Parcel” online portal but it just said there was no order with my shipment number.
So if you’re like me and the robot phone line isn’t working here is what you do as a step by step guide.
call the number 024 7693 7770 (DHL e-commerce line)
Select option 2 (if we’ve left you a calling card, press 2)
You want to put in 7 random numbers then the # key, it has to be 7 numbers long otherwise it’ll say it doesn’t recognise the number. I’ve usually put “1234567” and that always works.
if it asks you for a postcode, that means you’ve accidentally stumbled across someone’s Calling Card number. There is no way to recover from this so hang up and start again
if all goes well the robot answerphone will say “sorry your card number wasn’t found” but that’s a good thing because if you wait you’ll be directed to speak to their customer service team if you press 9
I know this seems really convoluted and maybe I’m just an idiot and there’s a much easier way to access the customer service team. But this was genuinely the only way I could speak to a human being at DHL E-commerce and get my issue sorted and I can only hope this helps others who have had the same issue.
(PS: if this did help and you’re speaking to a customer service rep, let them know Tommy sent ya and to make it easier to speak with a human. Thanks!)
I need a phone number for a courier to pick up a return.
For package not being received since a week
God damn this is getting frustrating. DHL is the absolute worst. Can anyone please help me. In desperate as I'm afraid my shipment will get sent back but I haven't gotten a letter or anything. SERIOUSLY THOUGH WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY. I'm in Munich Germany.
