i sent eid clothes shoes etc to relatives in chicago. i used this service in lahore gulberg called skynet. they charge approx 20 to 30k rupees per 20Kg box. I've had frustrating experiences with DHL also. It appears the company is surviving because of the corporate tie ups they have as courier partners. I had a courier shipped from the UAE and for customs release, these guys make up their own rules every time and ask for irrelevant documents. When I asked how for the same type of shipment, documents will change and give the previous AWB as proof, the customer service executive has the audacity to tell me that they did me a favour last time and I can't expect that always. As if they have some control over customs rules to do me favours. After escalating and several back and forth, I got the shipment released . The employees act as if they are doing us some personal favour for doing the bare minimum for the job they are paid for. I don't understand how the entire company's working culture is so poor.
