How does DHL eCommerce pricing compare to DHL Express?
Are there minimum shipping fees or Remote Area charges?
Can I negotiate rates for high-volume shipping?
Help? Import fee same as price of item?
Did I get scammed by dhl?
I’m in disbelief right now. I’m from the US and I got a custom wedding dress ordered from Ukraine. Had no idea the seller was Ukrainian until the package shipped.
I paid about $350 for the dress. DHL wants $350 in import fees. Shouldn’t it be 10% for clothing? I’m so confused, in a tight spot, and kind of need my wedding dress…?! I figured I’d pay 10% not 100%? Who do I even contact like what do I do? Is there even anything i can do?
I’m sorry if these are stupid questions, I just wasn’t prepared for this at all.
Edit: I asked the seller and they said that there was an error on the invoice that they already contacted DHL about and are waiting for it to be fixed. They just didn’t tell me. Alright then
So I wanted to send off some pretty important documents to my health insurance. I printed them and put them into a Briefumschlag. The guy there told me the price for the Umschlag and the printing job. I paid.
Then he gave me my check with einschreiben. I asked if it have to pay for the einschreiben and he said no. Suddenly he asked me how many pages were in fhe letter, I said 13. He asked me for 13.50?? Not really mentioning for what. I felt a weird stupor and just told him I dont have enough since I have 10,50 in my pocket and can't pay by card in that place. He just took it and shook his head like yeah whatever
What was that
Did I get scammed or was it an actual fee for something?
P. S. I spoke german and was pretty polite, nothing insane.
