Emma Corrin
British actor (born 1995)
Emma Corrin was amazing in her portrayal of Diana and captured her youth and zest for life so perfectly. Watching it back now we’re at season 6, and the end of Diana’s life, my gosh does it make me sad.
I know people are quick to critique this show, and rightly so, but the casting of Diana (both actresses) was lightning striking twice. Both amazing.

I’m excited that she’s a total newcomer. Like there’s literally no other significant role she’s done to look back at. The crown will be everyone’s introduction to her.

I’m currently rewatching the crown, just finished watching season 4. And I’m only talking about the show and plots in the show. Season 4 Diana is so complicated, she wants to be loved in her marriage but for lack of better word goes tit for tat with Charles. I have sympathy for Charles to a certain extent, but at the end of the day he flat out hated Diana. And I can understand his actions could be soul crushing to any woman. But to me,, Diana was almost forcing Charles to give her some type of attention and it was exhausting. She was begging for some type of love from the royal family but I think she was only willing to accept her version of love if that makes sense. I don’t think even if she had a personal relationship with the queen for example she’d be satisfied.
