Priness Auto isn't bad...when you buy a tool you've never had and want to use it for the first time...sure Aucklands Grainger has the top-of-the-line brands...but get the cheaper ones first until you can make good use of the tool, then get a good one that can pay for itself later. Drills, grinders, saws...I'd invest a bit more and go somewheres else though... Wheels & casters, pumpjacks, jackstands,bearings ( low grade ball-bearings), quick connect pins, lubricants, electrical wires & harnesses for trailers, airlines & fittings...those are products that you don't need to have the top brand as you'll be buying those often. As far as where you'll buy your fasteners (bolts), I'd suggest you get an account with a company that specializes in that (fastenal). I always go to Princess Auto when I need theses and thoses. Mastercraft I consider to be a bit better quality products over Powerfist...but I buy a lot of Powerfist products and some actually last. Princess Auto's welding supplies section outshines Canadian Tire's. (I also go to Canadian Tire often as well.) One thing I like about Princess Auto is they carry Hobart rods !
