Bear in mind that I am not a native speaker, so correct me if I'm wrong. Void is usually used with warranty of devices (i.e. your smartphone), say you modified parts of your phone your warranty would be void, i.e. you lose your right to request a replacement or repair of your device. Invalid more generally used, also frequently in software development, let's say you are to enter a number between 1 and 10 and you entered 15, that would be an invalid input, because it's not in the valid range of 1 to 10.
