Reasonable pricing for websites & digital marketing?
Digital Marketing for small businesses - prices?
What is the most-needed small business marketing service?
Realistically most small businesses just need a social media person and a website. Build out a decent website and then post regularly and address complaints. Generate a shitload of "custom" stock content with a photographer/video person a few times a year and then take whatever money is left to run a few ads.

Hi all,
I've been running a one man digital agency/consultancy for about 6 years now and most of my clients are fairly established large businesses. I'd like to put a decent offering together for smaller businesses though and I was hoping I could get some input from this sub on what you think is a fair price for these sort of services.
I'm thinking of a fairly simple tiered approach, where you pay a basic monthly fee for a website, then additional fees if you want it optimised and regular content added (primarily for search engine optimisation purposes), and then additional fees should you want advertising services (so if you just want Google search ads or Facebook/Instagram ads, that's effectively a bolt on to the monthly fee).
I'm just not sure where to position the pricing - we have google and meta partner status and lots of demonstrable SEO experience, so I don't want position at entry level, but I also don't want the pricing to be off putting for smaller guys. Would appreciate any examples of what you currently pay for these sorts of services - as an example, maybe something like:
£75/month for a reasonably standard wordpress website (charge for additional updates as necessary)
£175/month for website with regular monthly updates and search engine optimisation
Then additional fees for google and Meta ads (and other platforms if necessary) - generally smaller businesses don't need as much ad management time as the bigger ones, but I do need to be careful with flat fees here (and obviously the business needs an ad budget too) so I was thinking I could perhaps begin at c.£200/month per channel.
Would appreciate any input - conscious that in the current economy I need this to represent good value for smaller guys who may be tempted to do it themselves and end up with crappy wix sites or burning ad budgets...
