Hi all. I have CFLs all throughout my house and have had a few fail and when I went to purchase new ones they are no longer stocked. I figured with all the new LED bulbs out I should have no problem finding new bulbs. But almost every LED bulb I look at is not rated for enclosed fixtures(half of my fixtures are enclosed). I found a few brands like TCP that have some bulbs for enclosed fixtures but none of the big names like Philips, CREE, GE. When I've dug around on the smaller brands it seems to be very hit and miss on reviews so I got nervous. My previous CFLs are ecosmart ESBM814435K. I'd like to have 60w equivalents with 3500k to 5000k in color. Within the last few years I replaced all the fixtures in the house so I was hoping to avoid changing them again already. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the replies and discussion all!

I went with these Bulbs.

I've had them in since this post and they are all working well. No dead bulbs yet in the enclosed fixtures. I went with these because Cree actually answered me and said that it was not a safety issue and just a bulb life problem with the enclosed fixtures.

Still no dead bulbs all are working well including some outside ones.
We have an enclosed upstairs hallway fixture which trashes cheap LED bulbs. I only use "enclosure rated" bulbs, but they all fail pretty badly with obvious heat issues (browned/discolored bases, even cracks forming in the "heatsink"). Before I start buying more expensive bulbs, does anyone have experience with the less-cheap options which can hold up and not die from overheating?
On a related note, where are the 5W 60W replacements? Philips at least has been showing them on their website now for a little while (even in 120V 60hz configs, so presumably for us here in North America). But I can't actually find them sold anywhere. I figure a higher lm/w would mean less power is being dissipated as heat, right? So where the heck can I get them? Or has the market decided people just want the cheap crap and that's all they'll sell?
