Title says it all. Just thought I check what others are using gone through a few over the years always, but in the end I settled on https://www.dinopass.com I always get wired looks or comments when I recommend it. Nothing worse giving someone a complex password they can't remember then write it on a posted and stick in on their computer. Simply complex is better I think.
It depends. When I need to give temporary passwords to users that I expect them to change straight away, then I use dinopass.com's strong password option. For my own passwords I use https://passwordsgenerator.net/ to generate strong passwords and save them in a password manager, (LastPass for work, KeePass for personal).

Hi!
Are there websites I can point my users to in order to help them with creating better passwords? I know Diceware is one but what else? I also just found SANS OUCH! Anything similar?
We like Bitwarden’s website
Free Password Generator | Create Strong Passwords | Bitwarden
Easy and secure password generator that's completely free and safe to use. Generate strong passwords for every online account with the strong Bitwarden password generator, and get the latest best practices on how to maintain password security and...
We usually recommend the Passphrase option, take out the dashes and potentially add a number or special character as required for the password.

Well, here we are. Another day, another crisis. Today, my entire team is sitting around twiddling their thumbs because our most crucial IT resource has gone offline... DinoPass.
How am I supposed to generate secure passwords now? Use a password manager? Pfft, who has time for that. I’ve got deadlines, and the only thing standing between me and a complete meltdown is a dinosaur-themed password generator that some higher-up insisted we use for "standardized security". Now it’s down, and apparently, so is our productivity.
Guess I'll have to start using "Password123!" for all our critical systems until it's back up. Security best practices, right? 🤷♂️
Can’t wait for the auditor to ask why all our passwords are one step above "admin/admin." Thanks, DinoPass.
