October 29, 2024 - Kron is a leader of the herd and the secondary antagonist of Disney's 2000 animated feature film Dinosaur. He is the leader of the herd that he is taking to the Nesting Grounds. He is stubborn, tyrannical, selfish, and abrasive.

1 day ago - Samuel E. Wright as Kron, Neera's brother and the Iguanodon leader of the herd of survivors. He behaves as a Social Darwinist, only concerned about the "fit/strong" dinosaurs and his own position as leader.

1 week ago - The difference is that whereas Wright voiced Sebastian with a Jamaican accent, he voiced Kron with a darker and more menacing tone, while having a bit of a Nigerian accent, more similar to Wright's natural voice. Coincidentally, both Dinosaur and The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea were released the same year: 2000.

Aladar and the lemurs befriend a trio of elderly dinosaurs: Baylene (Joan Plowright) the Brachiosaurus, Eema (Della Reese) the Styracosaurus, and Url, Eema's dog-like pet Ankylosaurus. Kron is pushing the herd ahead mercilessly, but as a result the elderly dinosaurs are struggling to keep up.

When a meteor shower destroys their home, Aladar and his family follow a herd of dinosaurs heading for the safety of the "nesting grounds." Along the way, Aladar befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. January 15, 2020 - They're also present in North America even though the genus is from South America; while this is at least lampshaded with the characters noting that they haven't come as far north before as they do in the movie, it's still a Voodoo Shark of sorts because the two continents were still separated by ocean until the Great American Interchange of the Pliocene, long after the non-avian dinosaurs became extinct. Kron and Bruton are supposed to be Iguanodon, but possess prominent bony nasal crests that more closely resemble Muttaburrasaurus, Altirhinus, or even Gideon Mantell's inaccurate Iguanodon that placed the thumb spike as a rhino-like nose horn.

After fleeing a pack of Velociraptor, the family meets a multi-species herd of dinosaurs (consisting of an assortment of Iguanodon, Styracosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Stygimoloch, Microceratus, Parasaurolophus, and Struthiomimus) led by the Iguanodon or Altirhinus Kron and his lieutenant Bruton, who are on a journey to reach the "Nesting Grounds", a valley believed to be untouched by the devastation of the asteroid impact.
