r/Creation on Reddit: Makes more sense if all dinosaurs died during the flood
October 27, 2020 -

First time posting so go easy on me....I went to the Creation Museum and there was a big display called dinosaurs and dragons. You can see in the hyperlinked exhibit : https://creationmuseum.org/dinosaurs-dragons/

Lots of stuff about evidence for dinosaurs because of Chinese dragons and medieval dragons. But honestly none of the dragons look like dinosaurs in the pictures. Especially Chinese dragons look like cats or something. Plus if you think that St. George killed dragons then of course he would have been alive in more recent times. Meaning dragons are also alive in more recent times.

I don't get it. It just seemed goofy to me and easy to make people say creationism is all fantasy. Why can't we just say Noah's Flood killed all dinosaurs? That actually makes sense because of the fossils record and geology.

r/Bible on Reddit: Why aren't the dinosaurs mentioned before Noah's flood in Genesis?
February 13, 2024 -

Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, and Brachiosaurus are among a wide range of terrifying creatures that roamed the earth before Noah's global flood according to the literalist interpretation of biblical history.

Did God cleanse the earth of these abominable reptilian creatures because they weren't originally created by God in the garden of Eden? Like the nephilim giants, were they sinful flesh created by the fallen angels? Was this one of the reasons for Noah's flood, to cleanse the earth of those abominations?

Where Did the Dinosaurs Go After Leaving Noah’s Ark? | Answers in Genesis
In other words, 70% of the kinds of mammals that Noah brought aboard the ark have since perished, not extinction by virtue of burial in the flood, but rather via extinction after the flood. And, of course, in the case of dinosaurs, that appears to be 100% by this time, although we know the last of them died out fairly recently (as evidenced by the dragon legends referred to earlier).

What Happened to Dinosaurs after the Flood? | The Institute for Creation Research
May 31, 2019 - Genesis says that “every beast after its kind…went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life.”1 Dinosaurs were beasts, and their fossil nostrils show they had the breath of life. So, if a breeding pair of every dinosaur kind entered the Ark, why don’t we see dinosaurs alive today? Many other animal kinds also died out after the Flood.

November 7, 2023 - The eruption rate of the Deccan Traps in India suggests that the stage was set for widespread extinction even without the asteroid, says Green. The impact was the double whammy that loudly sounded the death knell for the dinosaurs, he adds. Flood basalt eruptions aren’t common in the geologic record, says Green.

Did any dinosaurs survive the flood? - Quora
Answer (1 of 4): According to the Bible and to the biblical literalists, humans and dinosaurs were created at the same time. So, if they didn’t survive the flood, it was because Noah didn’t follow God’s instructions.

Creation for Kids: How did dinosaurs survive the Flood?
July 4, 2024 - Eventually all the dinosaurs outside the Ark died, but their footprints and eggs show that it took a while for that to happen. These footprints and eggs would have then been rapidly covered with new sediment during the Flood, preserving them as fossils.
