I'm trying to transfer $3k from my discover savings to my Wells Fargo checking account or any way I can transfer cash out. Which way is the quickest? WF platform to Discover or Discover bank to WF? I'd like to receive the money within a day if possible Oh I also have NFCU bank. Maybe that would be quickest?

19 years old. For those with Discover savings accounts… are there any fees/limits you’ve seen? The only one I see is a $30 fee on outgoing wire transfers and a 6 transfer monthly limit.
In my situation, I plan to keep my Chase checking account. If I move money from the Discover savings to the Chase checking online (to pay bills, for example), would that move incur the $30 fee? I’m not entirely sure what a wire transfer is.
Thanks!
When transferring from discover savings to another bank, how long would it take for funds to get to the other bank?
I am going to save my car insurance money in here since the interest rate is way higher than my other bank account. Just need to know how long it will take to get to one account to another. I saw it was about 5-7 days, but just wanted to confirm.
Hi all,
I have a Bank of America account (BoA). I recently opened a Discover saving account for its higher interest rate.
As suggested by others (https://www.reddit.com/r/discover/comments/11s7a8h/how_did_you_deposit_a_large_sum_into_your_savings/), banks usually have a pretty low daily transfer limit and charge fee, but if I initiate an inbound transfer online from Discover, pulling $50,000 from Bank of America, that can be done in 1 time without fee from Discover and BoA.
My question is: what is the best way to send $50,000 from Discover to Bank of America? Can it be done in 1 time without fee? I am total okay if that transaction will take days to complete.
Thank you!
Best,
Jake
So I took the plunge and opened a Discover high yield savings account last week. I talked today with a customer service rep about transfer limits.
She said that if I make a deposit by taking a picture of a check using the mobile check deposit app, there is a deposit limit of $25,000 per day and $50,000 per month.
Per online transfers bank to bank, there is a limit of 6 online transfers per month, with a dollar amount limit per month of $250,000.
The external checking account I was going to start transferring from is an account I have at a local credit union. I am going to write a check for my first deposit, since that deposit is larger than my credit union's external online transfer limit per month, which is only $6,000. But in the future, if I want to transfer money to or from my Discover savings account and my credit union checking, could I initiate the transfer from the Discover account in order to take advantage of the higher transfer limit? For example, if I want to transfer $7,000 from my Discover savings account at some point in the future to my credit union checking account to pay off my car note or for some other reason, could I initiate the transfer using my Discover savings account in order to work around my credit union's daily online transfer limits?
I wish Discover would bring back their checking accounts so that I could open one of those, as that would solve much of the problem, since my only checking account right now is the credit union.
I recently opened a Discover savings account, I added the account onto my main bank account as an external account to transfer money there. Does anyone know how long it takes for the account to be added? I've already verified the two small deposits, but I can't transfer any money into it yet.
Hi!
I opened a new savings account and it says that they have a 6 transfer limit each month but I had read that discover had gotten rid of this? I am confused!
