r/Denver on Reddit: Any chance of disputing parking ticket at legal parking space in Denver?
November 6, 2023 -
Hi,
I went on vacation to a different state on November 21 - December 26, and when I got back to Denver, I learned that I received a parking ticket for parking at Pearl Street in between E 12 Ave and E 13 Ave in Capitol Hill (ticket was issued on the 29th of November). I am confused about this ticket as it’s a residential area, there’s no street sweeping on the dates I parked there (my car was there in November 21-29), and there’s no parking signs indicating it’s illegal to park there. How come did I get a ticket? Is it possible they were doing constructions and put a sign after I left?
But more importantly, do I have a case for disputing this ticket?
