Hi guys, I am new to IKEA hack, I have built an enclosure for my 3D Printer using Platsa cabinet and gorgeous black Jutis glass door lol still finishing up air filter system and lightening. I would love some help identifying what I could use from IKEA to replace this (65") TV stand. I have been trying to replace this TV stand for years now but I cannot for the life of me, find anything that is our style but no less important, can support this TV without having the risk of being too short. I don't wanna see this TV on the floor haha This TV stand looks ugly, doesn't match with the OAK furniture we have, and all those books and boxes are to prevent our cats from getting there. I would love a cleaner look. Coz I cannot find anything I always ended up with "leave as it" :( The TV base is 30.5cm in depth and 90.5cm in length and as you might have guessed, I am not touching the walls, rented place. I don't mind it being longer, I would be more than happy to hid the litter box within it. Finally an excuse to get that done to be sincere haha I have a 3D printer so I am happy to include it into the project if needed and as long as the parts will be stronger enough. If simple measuring and marking the wall to hang the bracket isn't precise enough, mount the bracket to the tv and measure the distance to the edge of the tv on all 4 sides. transfer those measurements, plus your 1/2" gap, to the wall and mark the location for your bracket.
Just be sure that your bracket is properly attached to the wall studs to support the weight of the tv.
