If you were making a gift basket for a woman 50+ for Christmas, what would you put in it?
Making a self-care basket for a birthday gift
Small gifts to put in a DIY gift box for a girl turning 17?
DIY gift basket ideas?
Batteries for new kid toys or you can never have enough batteries lying around.
Hand sanitizer, idk if either of you sew but a handmade mask per their interests?
Honestly id welcome a very nice and detailed personal note of how much they mean to you as friends.
A cup of hot coco packets (easy to buy 1 container and split up in each basket).
A board game (you could also say it comes with a price, you’ll all make a date to play over zoom )
A puzzle
LEGOs
Make them a kit for a DIY at home cocktail (buy mini liquor bottle(s) and a small portion of juice or whatever mixings.

I want to make those gift boxes with all kinds of things inside, I'm thinking of buying a small perfume bottle and some snacks, but I'm open to more suggestions!!
Only rule is no alcohol! Help me shop for my MIL who never gives me any suggestions and doesn't drink haha
So my older sister is going through some tough stuff right now, including her son passing away, losing her apartment (she's now living in a rundown camper in a friend's yard), and struggling with alcoholism and several major health issues.
I am planning to make her a self-care basket, something that she can use to make herself feel a little more human. This is what I have so far:
Shaving cream x1
Body wash x2
Toothpaste x2
Micellar water x1
face masks x3
Chapstick x1
Leave-in conditioner x1
Toothbrushes x2
Face wash x1
Lotion x1
Shower steamers x8
and a $25 Olive Garden gift card.
Her birthday is not until the end of September, but I started now so I would have plenty of time to get as much quality stuff as I could while still being able to shop sales and coupons. Nothing I've got is a store brand (not saying there is anything wrong with that, by the way). Mostly, it's brands like Dove and Burt's Bees. Now I know I could just give her cash as well, but I'm 99% sure she'd spend it on Alcohol. I am on a fixed income, which is why I've started putting this together so early so I can fit it into my budget.
I am wondering if anyone has any other ideas for things I could add to the basket. Some other ideas I had were sugar scrub, a robe, a grocery gift card, a journal and pens, and maybe some herbal teas.
As a side note, she is turning 42, and she has a huge pit bull/German Shepherd who is such a sweetie. she likes sloths and horses. She is a truck driver by trade and works weird hours. i have not gotten her a birthday gift in literally like a decade because of my finances. So this will be unexpected and a big surprise.
