August 16, 2023 - He 'held down the top shelf' as we call it on the cabinet on the right. Leaves a void for the vent. When doing this, is the vent no longer functioning? Surely that would cause some issues? I see a board covering the vent in the 5th picture. Soooo…. My DH & I were just beginning our remodel of our entire home… walls ripped out, cabinets chucked… the whole 9 and 10 yards.
Hubby is super skilled at anything craftsman-esque, but I am in charge of our finances. Long story very short- he had to take time off of his own business due to back injury- and one week later I became disabled with lupus & lymphoma and am not getting my ER nurse salary. 😦
Alllllll I know- is I need cabinets. Bad. Anyone have any ideas to toss in the pot for the simplest/affordable way to put something sturdy together? Don’t mind upcycling materials- I can generally find them on the marketplace!
