I’ve turned 15 today and I was wondering to work there cause I’ve always loved movies and helping me people
Hey, I’m 14 and I’m wondering about how the work experience is, the pay, and how many hours I can work. really all of the basics, what will they let me do as a 14 year old there?
Thanks.
I’m 15 (turning 16 in early august), and while AMC isn’t the first job I’ve applied for, it’s the first one that’s sent me a response like this. For context, in the first image I accidentally applied for a manager position instead of a crew role and only realized it during the virtual assessment. I reapplied for the correct position and received the second email.
I’m wondering if this is a good sign or just a standard response. My mom suggested that if I don’t hear back by tomorrow, I should try calling management to follow up on my application. I don’t necessarily disagree, but I also know the job market and hiring processes have changed since she was a teen, and I don’t want to come across the wrong way or seem unprofessional. Calling doesn’t sound like a bad idea, but I want to make sure it’s appropriate and won’t hurt my chances.
I’m looking for a job at 15, when I saw amc hires at 14, I thought that was great, but I’ve heard it’s difficult to get an interview, any tips? (No suggesting other theaters, the next closest theater is a 20 min drive.)
