October 29, 2024 - The game has two phases: a mining one and a combat one. During the mining part, you go below your dome and try to find resources: iron, water and cobalt. Using those resources you can upgrade your keeper, dome and gadgets.

October 6, 2022 - The loadout consists of choosing a keeper, dome, primary gadget and cosmetics like a suit and a pet. The loadout menu before the v4.0 update consisted of a simple arrangement of buttons you interact with to choose everything. A map consists of tiles, some with resources, and discoverables like Caves and Gadgets.

It could theoretically happen in your first run or like me, won't happen until you're 30 hours in. While mining, you'll find what appears to be an egg. Bring it back to the dome and the achievement will pop, win that game and you'll receive a new pet! ... A keeper of status Unlock the prestige mode.

Once there, they provide some beneficial functionality, including the ability to teleport between your base and a movable portal (Teleporter), a gravity lift which pulls resources in it up to the dome (Lift), and high-powered explosives you can drop to destroy lots of rocks at once (Blast). There are also other minor things to discover under the rocks which aren’t directly part of the dome, like a small creature that ferries one resource at a time, a seed which you can plant on a resource to create a “tree” growing that resource, and a device that, when activated with two iron cubes, gives you X-ray vision to see through two layers of rock.

I appreciate that y'all are still ... Dome Keeper :/ The game really needs more randomized discoverables: gadgets, secrets, enemies, easter eggs, maybe events to happen idk....

October 29, 2024 - The Final Relic is buried deep down, its chamber being hidden behind 12 special tiles. Once it is fully unlocked, the Final Relic can be picked up. When picked up, an ambience will play and a pulsating screen effect will be played.
