Most people who have latex allergies don’t to the toppers or mattresses because they’re “clean or so I’ve read several times. Dormeo used to make mattresses but it appears that is almost a defunct part of their business. It appears toppers is all they have. My father and I both got ultra firm flippable king mattresses with hopes to get a topper to soften it. He is still sleeping on the Dormeo he says he likes it or he says it’s ok depending on the day. Never overwhelming love. Me I found it quite hot sort of maybe. I did love the zip on cover top it was a nice tight quilted octagons they feel nice under sheets and mattress protector. Consumer Reports rates it number 1 but I can’t find any great reviews on it. Check the reviews on Costco sort by recent. I ended up returning it. It’s a hard 1-2 inch deep not depth deep hard piece. chunk of foam at the top and bottom. The rest it has a yellow like 0.5 inch of what feels almost exactly like memory foam. Then under it in the middle are the “coils” which are substantially harder in the middle. Then under that is a 1 inch ish piece of the white foam like the header and footer actually I think it’s attached to the header and footer. The middle of the “springs/coils” the white ones being substantially firmer. Than the blue ones on the top and bottom 1/3rd of the bed. This made my shoulders sink into the less firm “springs/coils” part at the top and I had a lot of neck pain. I didn’t like it I felt it to be cheaper quality poly foam throughout the whole thing. It also was quite thick on my mattress and raised it quite a bit took up to much of the headboard. I wish they would evenly space or alternate the springs rather than zone it in the middle.
