I have come across many sources and Youtube vids on how to install C on Windows, but each of them varies wayy too much. So I wanted to know if there are any sources according to u that are reliable and easy to install and dont go about it on such a roundabout way. I'm a beginner to programming so please make it to understand.Any vids on installation are also welcome

Code::blocks offers a fully integrated IDE and GCC compiler suite, allowing you to download, install and then be up and running. https://www.codeblocks.org/downloads/binaries/ Make sure you choose one of the mingw downloads, as this includes the compiler.
Windows 11 has been my operating system for a few days now :D
You shouldn't use It on your main computer. It's a leaked not completed build. It may contain security vulnerabilities (not that 10 doesn't have them but you get my point) or integrated viruses. Wait for an official release

April 8, 2024Is programming in C on Windows recommended and what is the most straightforward way to do it?
I do it with MSYS2. Don't know why you can't install it. But 1 alternative is to get GCC for Mingw/Windows. Its not like linux GCC, its made for Windows, but for learning is perfect. https://winlibs.com/ Latest Release versions UCRT runtime Install on C drive and add the bin folder to your System path You should be able to gcc --v in the command line and get a version string if you did everything correct.
