If you're shooting inside the church, forget the zooms. Also, for free......just don't. I shot a friend's wedding and I knew going in they didn't expect much. I had a Nikon D3300 and 35mm f/1.8 and maybe 1 or 3 other lenses. It was supposed to be outside at a winery. But, it ended up being super cold and windy and no one wanted to go outside. I absolutely freaked out. Barely anything came out well. I'll never do that again. I would make sure they know you're not a pro. And you're not a wedding photographer. Make it lighthearted. Get the guests involved. Bring some point and shoots or disposable film cameras and have them accessible to the guests so they shoot stuff. In other words, since quality is going to suffer, ensure you have quantity. Plus, many of those candids shot by and with friends and family end up being some of the favorites. More on reddit.com

For those with Canon DSLRs, what picture style/settings do you use?
I just recently shot my first wedding (so I'm not a pro) in flat profile and dear god, the process of color grading those pictures was hell. For future weddings, what picture profile/settings do you guys recommend me use?
p.s. I shoot in RAW so yes i know i can edit color in post, but i currently shoot in flat and want to reduce the amount of post editing i already have to do color correcting everything if i shoot in flat

Doesn't matter. RAW files only use the picture style for the preview.

Just make a preset in LR of stuff that you do a lot, then apply that on import and it'll get you most of the way there, maybe make a few for different lighting situations. I just go with flat RAW files and it's fine.
