Here's what the code says:
Detect different devices (parallel ports, serial ports, and coprocessor in CPU, etc.) successfully installed in the system and update the BDA, EBDA, etc.
What I'm saying is.. huh? What does this mean I should do, if anything? All is running fine. Only thing I recently changed was the RAM frequency -- and I did that yesterday. Changed from 1333MHz to 1866MHz.
Here's the motherboard I'm using. Here is the RAM I've got installed.
Any advice?

I just finished my new build on an MSI MEG x570 Unify. Everything booted up fine and the PC is running smoothly. But the debug code LED is constantly running. It shows 40 or 41 then counts down almost every second to 39,38,37,36,etc until about 30 and then jumps back to 40ish and counts down...

Ok, so I'm having a bit of a problem here. Every other startup I get a bootup motherbrand logo on screen and then display just fades out. Post code shows 40 but nothing is happening.
Sometimes, If I wait long enough. 10 minutes give or take, the computer boots up properly during the long weird ass boot.
I did several clean install and it started happening even with a backup windows drive.
A lot of the errors I'm getting are
*Event log error event ID 6008
*Volmgr error Event ID 161
*Kernel Power Event ID 41
*Event log Error Event ID 1101
*Bug Check Error Event ID 1001
-----here are my specs-----
*Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master rev 1.0
*Ryzen 9 5900x
*16GB 8x8 3600MHz CL15
*EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra
*Inland Performance Pro 1tb Gen4 (game drive)
*Inland Premium 1Tb Gen3 (OS drive)
*Corsair hx1000i Platinum
I've been going through for a while now and I honestly don't want to deal with Gigabytes horrid RMA.
Please help.

EDIT 3: Solved it. It was windows Fast startup. I had to disabled it in the "Change what the power buttons do".
Man this journey was so damn weird.

I have a similar issue, *Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master [Rev 1.0] *Ryzen 9 5800X *Gigabyte Windforce OC 3X RTX 2070 Super *16 GB of DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Ram. 2 sticks *C Drive is a SSD 980 1TB (NVME) *Storage Drives are SSD 860 EVO 1 TB and 2 TB, *EVGA 850+ Gold *BIOS F2 *No Overclock applied *All Windows 10 updates applied, GPU updates applied and AMD Drivers applied The difference between the situation above and mine is that my boot sequence operates normally I get the A0 code and then boots into Windows. then I receive the Error Code 40, it gets weirder if I play Horizon Zero Dawn the Code changes to 30 but game runs fine. The Users Manual doesn't Have Error Code 30? I know this shouldn't happen but is it possible that because I haven't registered my copy of Windows 10 yet it is causing some kind of glitch?

April 19, 2017 - So i have the ASRock X370 Gaming K4 with a Ryzen 1700 inside and 8GB of Corsair RAM running at 2133Mhz. Dr Debug shows the error code 40 but the computer still posts and loads windows fine. I restarted it and now it is showing 24, but it is still fine. I'm fairly sure that this isn't normal behaviour.

March 18, 2018 - Funsoul, Mandrake, I was ready to try anything so I gave the slots and the whole computer and the RAMs a good cleaning and the error continued. Memory was tested for hours with AIDA 64 without any issues. If the error was left after a cold boot the computer would lock tight to another screen and require a hard boot. The immediate restart solved the '40' chipset error code.
