The picture is a bit confusing, I don't know what is going on over on the left. Anyway, judging by the screw in the bottom right this is either Ikea or other assemble it yourself furniture. That means that bottom piece is almost certainly some hardy fiber board that slots into some thin cut outs and is held in place by the 4 stiffer side boards. Loosen the fasteners so you can easily slide it out, buy some particle board that will fit the slots and not flex much, cut to size, and install. Answer from wouldyajust on reddit.com

The bottom fell out of this drawer. I want to reattach, but I don't trust the original staple method. Anyone have a suggestion for reinforcement?

If it’s not structural damage, you could cut a piece of 1/4 plywood to fit, finish it to match, and drop it into place. More on reddit.com
How do I fix a sagging drawer?
I’m sure there will be other, better suggestions than mine, but just in case I’ll still leave a suggestion. You can add a brace underneath the board. Fit that board back into its slot, cut a piece of wood that runs from front to back and fit it underneath the drawer. Pinning it in with a pinner would be easiest, nailing it in would be fine, screws would be good too. If you nail or screw it in you’ll want to predrill the holes so you don’t crack the wood. How to Fix a Broken Drawer - The Home Depot
September 5, 2023 - If the panel fits back into grooves the right way, secure it firmly into place with wood glue before replacing the drawer. Make a neat, continuous thread of wood glue all around the drawer panel at the groove or slot. Let the glue dry fully, using clamps as it dries if needed, before returning the drawer to the frame. If the bottom panel is too warped to fit back into place without popping out, try flattening it with the sun and wet grass method: Place the panel on wet grass with the curved part on the grass and the other side exposed to full sunlight.

October 5, 2020 - Depends somewhat on the construction method of drawer base and robe backs as to thickness of material you can use On budget furniture, the bases and backs are painfully thin and as you’ve found out, easily bow and separate from the unit If they slide into a groove, which is common, then your limited by the original thickness used but ply will be slightly stiffer than hardboard at the same thickness The Ikea PAX wardrobes which are a pretty good quality range for the money use a stupid method for back panels where the hardboard is ‘joined’ by tape for a double robe Glue on tape dries out over the years and the panels separate and gap in the middle (possibly changed method now (?) as this was some years ago) Generally drawer and wardrobe backs are poorly designed on flat pack / budget furniture

November 26, 2023 - Or maybe just glue slightly smaller plywood panels onto the bottoms, leaving the edges thin? You'd want to remove them and clamp everything onto a flat surface. posted by brachiopod at 1:18 PM on November 26, 2023 · How easy this is to fix depends on how handy you are. I agree with the idea of using thicker plywood and planing/sanding down the edges to fit into the existing grooves as well as, if possible, putting braces under the drawer bottoms to help prevent this from happening again.

July 29, 2019 - If you going to do this work yourself, I can share that drawer bottoms are where many young apprentice will start learning their skill sets. The work is simple and nature and does take a complex set of hand tools to achieve. One can even use "riven wood" (as it was done) to acquire the boards needed for the repair.
